Did your character willingly come to Iyashikei? If yes, why? Yes! She initially thinks the owl thing is a dream, and is currently at a pretty low point where accepting a deal to help a lot of people in a dream seems pretty tame.
Will they need any special accommodations upon arrival? Medical attention; she's coming from a moment just after a pretty tough fight that included getting hit by lightning, so she'll need some patching up, though nothing as serious as hospitalization.
Character's History: Kiana @ HI3 Archives. Since this isn't a full history up until the canonpoint Kiana is taken from, I'm gonna just add a bit more to get to that point!
After Kiana begins to train with Fu Hua to better control her Herrscher abilities, she begins investigating the troubles in Arc City. With more Honkai beasts invading what should have been one of the last true safe havens in the wake of the last great eruption, something had to be going wrong - and that something was the World Serpent, a terrorist organization. Throughout her investigating while still pushing herself to exhaustion fighting Honkai Beasts, Kiana discovered a plot crafted by the Serpent; by producing modified vaccines advertised to help with Honkai corruption, World Serpent was attempting to activate artificial stigmata on the general populace in an attempt to enhance a normal human's resistance to corruption. Things were going terribly wrong, though - most of the "zombies" Kiana had run across, those who had fallen to corruption and became mindless husks, all bore stigmata. The experiments on the unknowing residents of Arc City were seemingly failures, making people vulnerable to corruption, and Kiana had to stop it. She invaded the headquarters of the pharmecutical company that World Serpant had been working in the shadows of, Heliopolis, and attempted to find more information.
During her investigation, she clashed several times with Rita Rossweise, a Schicksal Valkyrie tasked with capturing Kiana and bringing her back to Schicksal HQ for further experimentation. However, Kiana managed to convince her of the conspiracy lurking in Heliopolis, and the two eventually became allies in their fight against the Serpent's forces in the city. This investigation also crossed over into a reunion far, far more personal for Kiana - for months since the Herrscher of the Void's fight with Himeko and her return to slumber, Anti-Entropy had been searching endlessly for Kiana. They'd eventually found their way to Arc City, and as Mei also began investigating Heliopolis, she ran into Kiana. The pair's reunion was emotional, but Kiana was hesitant; still fresh off the memories of her beloved mentor sacrificing herself to save Kiana, Kiana kept herself emotionally distant from Mei as the Heliopolis problem began to come to a head.
And come to a head it did. The investigation revealed that the World Serpent was planning to release a bomb over Arc City, flooding it with high levels of Honkai Energy in an attempt to awaken the populace's stigmata. Having seen that the vast majority of people turned into zombies, Kiana knew this would be a death sentence to almost the entire city. Fighting her way through a swarm of mechs, Kiana made it to the top of the tower where the bomb had been placed. After trying to mananage her abilities for so long, refusing to tap into even a fraction of the Herrscher of the Void's abilities in fear of reawakening that shadow inside of her, Kiana fully let herself trust herself and the faith Himeko and Fu Hua had for her. Tapping fully into her Void abilities, Kiana was able to fly the bomb clear out of Earth's atmosphere, leaving no citizen harmed as it exploded far, far over the skies of Arc City.
... But Kiana herself was another story. After absorbing so much radiation, she fell unconscious, and was saved by another Schicksal Valkyrie - Durandal. Despite attempts by Mei to fight her and take Kiana back, Durandal retreated with Kiana in tow, bringing her to a Schicksal base in North Africa so that Otto can once more perform experiments on Kiana's Herrscher abilities. After she fights Durandal to a standstill, Otto's experiment begins; after he opens a portal created by the Second Divine Key, he watches as Kiana is able to close it with her own power, though she faints afterwards. Not long after, World Serpent attacks the Schicksal base, intending to claim the Divine Key and eliminate Kiana, but thanks to Fu Hua acting as a distraction when the leader himself, Kevin Kaslana, locates Kiana, the girl is able to escape. Eventually, she makes her way to Nagazora, the town where she first met Mei and the town that was obliterated when Mei awoke as the Third Herrscher.
Eventually, this brings about the second reunion between Kiana and Mei; after her own tribulations, Mei finds Kiana unconscious in the ruins of Nagazora, and takes her back to the base she and Tesla set up. It's there that it's revealed that Kiana is dying; due to the energy absorbed from the bomb and the unstable gems implanted in her, Kiana's health is rapidly deteriorating to the point where she's given about two months left to live. Even with this news, Kiana just... keeps going. She goes out on a walk through the ruined city with Mei, reminiscing about their escape, and when they come across the Honkai Dragon Benares, Kiana is able to tame it due to its own lingering bond with the Herrscher of the Void. Things continue to remain heavy between them until a portal opens over Nagazora - Otto, having formed an alliance with Kevin, used the Divine Key to open another portal as part of another experiment. Kiana, being Kiana, shakes off Mei's protests and goes to close the rift. However, she was attacked by a construct that emerged from the rift, and was knocked out and fell from the sky. Kevin manages to stop her fall, and tells her the only reason he saved her was because of Mei - Mei, who embraced her own Herrscher powers and reawoke as the Herrscher of Thunder and sealed the portal in Kiana's place.
It's then revealed that Mei has agreed to join World Serpent - unable to accept that there's nothing that can be done to help Kiana, Mei agrees to help Kevin when told that he has the power to save her dearest friend. This, Kiana can't accept, and she tries to fight Mei to stop her from leaving. But even with her Herrscher powers, Kiana is defeated, knocked unconscious, and left on the ruined rooftop of Chiba Academy as Mei flies off.
Character's Personality:
Questions:
1. Tell us about who your character is and what someone’s first impression would be upon meeting them. How would your character act once someone got to know them? Bold, hardheaded, and a bit of an idiot. Those are all things people will tell you what Kiana Kaslana is when you first meet her. And, well - she is those things. Kiana is a bit smug and overconfident in her own abilities, a fan of rushing in to fight head-on without thinking about things much, and generally prefers to be out in the field training instead of inside studying and taking tests. She's quick to butt heads with people she doesn't agree with, and can be a bit of a brat when her stubborn streak kicks in and she digs her heels in.
But people will also tell you how compassionate she is. How dedicated she is to helping others and fighting to save others. How she always puts people above herself. Kiana cares deeply about the world and all the people in it - To protect all that is beautiful in the world is the oath she took, and she intends to live up to it, even if it puts her own self at risk. She doesn't give a damn if she's judged for helping others, either; when she saw how lonely Raiden Mei was at Chiba Academy, isolated and bullied by others for something her father was accused of, Kiana instead reached out a hand to the girl. She befriended the loner, simply saying that they can just be loners together, and quickly grew attached to Mei. Some folks might think her constant fawning over Mei is a bit annoying, because Kiana does it a lot, at every chance she gets, but it's just proof of how big her heart is!
2. What is something unique and interesting about them, or what is a fun little tidbit that sets them apart from the crowd? Kiana is a clone, created purely to be the vessel of the core of the Herrscher of the Void. This, paired with Otto Apocalypse only addressing her by her serial number and many people fighting over capturing her or wanting to kill her, and Kiana's own mess of guilt and self-hatred for what the Herrscher did while in control, kind of drills in a feeling of depersonalization in her for a while.
3. What does your character think their flaws are? What do they think their strengths are? What are their actual flaws and strengths? Kiana, in the aftermath of the awakening of the Herrscher of the Void, believes she's nothing but a monster. The Herrscher, the shadowy other self of hers, is quite the sadistic being; she was the cause of countless lives lost, many cities destroyed overnight, and the death of one of the most important people in the world to Kiana. And even after she was forced into dormancy, she still haunts Kiana's dreams; gloating over the death she cause, threatening to kill everyone else Kiana cares about, and generally wanting to hurt Kiana as much as possible to take advantage of her moment of weakness and gain control of Kiana's body again. Kiana is terrified of the Herrscher, and terrified that she's not strong enough to hold her back. So she distances herself from others, choosing to go on the run as a drifter instead of finding her way back to her friends, and works herself to the bone to protect humanity.
Because Kiana just... can't fight for herself. Her biggest flaw is that she'll destroy herself if it meant saving humanity, and she's so set in her ways that she doesn't really talk about how she really feels when she's worn down and tired. This lack of honest communication is one of the factors that led to her and Mei's fight in Nagazora, and her refusal to let others help her is another. Kiana has to be the one to fight.
But no matter how hard she's beaten down, Kiana will always get back up. Despite her wavering faith in herself, how weary she's become, Kiana's will is strong, and she'll keep on fighting.
4. What is a common misconception other characters have about your character? That she's stupid. Bronya's favorite nickname for her is "Kiana Idiotka", and indeed, her grades at St Freya's seem to reflect quite badly on her. But once people get to know her... she can actually be quite crafty. When she was captured and experimented on by Jackal of the World Serpent, Kiana pretended to be hurt by the torturous experiments, crying and begging for information on Jackal's plans, only to smugly gloat that she'd been faking it the whole time once she had the information she needed and instantly broke out of her confinement. She's very smart when she wants to be, she just... only applies it in certain ways.
Character Abilities: Kiana is a Herrscher - a human chosen to be one of the generals of the Honkai meant to destroy humanity. This gives her enhanced abilities such as speed, strength, and endurance, and as of her current state, a much higher pain tolerance than usual and the ability to fly. As the Herrscher of the Void, specifically, Kiana has complete control over imaginary space; she can summon constructs like lances to fight with, platforms in midair to climb up, and portals she can use to cross vast distances, such as moving from North Africa to Japan in the blink of an eye. Her power is further enhanced by several gems in her body - lesser forms of Herrscher cores that further augment the power of her abilities. Until recently, Kiana had three inside of her, but upon Mei fully embracing her awakening as the Herrscher of Thunder, one of the gems disappeared. Kiana is still an extremely powerful fighter even without that particular gem inside of her - in fact, the disappearance of the gem helped to stabilize her wavering health, without that massive amount of Honkai Energy contained in her body.

Any comments or questions you would like us to know? A funny meme is also welcome! Kiana technically only has several months left to live in her current canonpoint, due to Honkai Energy corruption - for the sake of her being playable past that point, it should be cool to have her come in with that "frozen", right?
